Nakai guesthouses and hotels

There are only two legitimate guesthouses in Nakai, and the rest are just flop houses that double as short time places -- including the Bootichai and the Aikhorn guesthouses across from the market. You're welcome to give these places a try, for a 30,000 kip, room with outside bath and nothing but a bed -- and plenty of free condoms -- but we don't recommend it. You may notice a place called The Wooden Guest House along the road to the Tolex Guest House, but it's open to dam workers only.
