What we say:

The newer of the two You Hong properties in Kratie town, this has the main restaurant of the two alongwith a very well informed travel department and various tourist stuff on the walls. Rooms are compact or small depending on how generous you are and the water is cool. Free WiFi helps, as does the location, but for the price, this isn't great value. Despite the popularity of the restaurant, we found the food to be just okay. If you're a You Hong groupie, go for the original over near the market, else go for one of the other riverside guesthouses in Kratie.

Good value, nice people

Nice room overlooking the river (all 4 do). A few 'hic-ups' that you might expect in a $5 double. Bring your own soap, very slow shower drain (but great shower), no door handle on bathroom, dark hallway and dangersous stairs in the dark if staff decides to 'turn out the lights' (this may be a product of the low season). Sometimes they 'turn out the lights' when you are in your room and if you stay away for a while, don't expect your computer to still be running when you get back. Helpful and friendly staff and good value room. Food is good and a fair value. Will stay here again if they are not full.
