What we say: 2.5 stars

Save the Christmas cake hotels a little upriver, this is one of the larger hotels in town. Rooms are, well, functional. They're of a moderate size, clean, with good sized TV (stations unclear), free WiFi and, depending on the room, a river view, but overall the identically priced nearby Heng Heng II is far better value. Note, somewhat bizarrely, the riverfront rooms are $15 regardless of whether you want a fan or air-con -- bargain it down if you can! Shared riverview balcony adds to the value. The floors throughout need a very good mop.
