Kim Morakat Hotel
Charmless and ugly but clean

What we say:
Almost straight across the road from the Ratanak, the Kim Morakat has clean functional rooms that are in far better condition than the Ratanak. Rooms come with bottles of water and toothbrushes, usually standard but sometimes missing in this price range. Go with a room at the end of the hallways, which are brighter and have larger windows with views of town but cost the same. There's a share deck in the back with a nice view of town, although no furniture on it for lounging. They're no frills affairs, but are cool inside and have comfortable beds. A good, central location.

Kim Morakat
The Stars Hotel (formerly the Darasmey Hotel) which is now being run by Mr Leng is better value and much more friendly.

The staff weren't very friendly and the room hadn't been cleaned properly.
