What we say:

There are a few cookie cutter hotels in central Banlung within easy walking distance of the Central Market. This wouldn't be our first choice of an area to stay, but if you like the hustle and bustle, then there are a few places to choose from. Ratanak Sky Inn is pretty good value for money for the area. There's a travel agency on the ground floor and the windowless rooms are spic and span with clean bathrooms and include free toiletries (a rarity in these parts). Facilities include free WiFi and TV and the rooms come in both fan-cooled and air-con flavours. If full, try the Phnom Meas Guesthouse next door which offers very similar fare.
