What we say: 2.5 stars

It's a shame that the only place on the river is such a dump. All the rooms are fan doubles with windows of one description or another, but you'll find better basic accommodation closer to town, and for the same price or a few dollars more, really excellent value for your money. The only advantage here is that the riverside food stalls, along with the port for the local and tour boats, are within a couple hundred metres -- you could hit all the highlights of Kompong Chhnang without renting a bike or hiring a motodop. Staying here will make life a little simpler, and the rooms aren't the worst we've ever seen.
