Bopha Angkor Guesthouse
Cheapest in town

What we say:
This is the first of the budget guesthouses along the road to Phnom Penh, on the left past the Sovannphum Hotel. There's a bougainvillea-filled courtyard out front of the scrappy little building, which does feature a kind of a second floor terrace. But the real reason to stay here the price -- the cheapest rooms in town. They're cramped and not particularly clean, but it gets high marks on one score: if you're used to slumming it to save a couple of bucks, and you know what to expect when you pay rock-bottom prices, then this is where you want to head. Friendly staff do not speak a word of English.
