Description
Across the road from the massive new US Embassy, the Sunway is primarily a business traveller's hotel, with comfortable and functional deluxe rooms. While the hotel doesn't have a pool (apparently businessmen do not have time to swim) the location is handy to Wat Phnom and the restaurants bunched around there.

Bougainvillier Hotel
277G Sisowath Quay
Decorated in an almost Shanghai Tang style, the Bougainvillier may be loved by some but others find it cheesy. The standards all have city views, which translates into peering over the tin roof of the carpark next door. On the upside, the rooms are immaculate and come with TV, fridge and... more
Himawari Hotel Apartments
313 Sisowath Quay, Phnom Penh
The Himawari Hotel (previously Mi Casa) has very smart wooden-floored, apartment-style rooms with kitchenettes, walk-in wardrobes and plush bathrooms. The riverview rooms are excellent but most of them are the more expensive executive options. The hotel has full four-star facilities including a... more
