What we say:

This is quite a popular spot despite the rooms being unremarkable. Just a couple of streets south of Central Market, Angkor Bright offers rooms with air-con, cable TV and hot water bathrooms. The cheapest come without windows and should be avoided -- you're better off for the location and price to stay in the windowless rooms in the hotels on the riverside. However, it also has an enormous, overstaffed restaurant with cheap and tasty food. Its proximity to the Central Market means the scene outside is a hectic, traffic-clogged mess, but if you're willing to navigate it, you can walk almost anywhere from this point in the city. If you want a cheap hotel in a good location but aren't planning to spend much time in your room, this may be the place for you. They have a few triples which are a good deal.
