The Narin 2 is right next door to the Seng Sokhom, but there are some real contrasts -- it's a well-worn part of a group tour operation, so a hideaway it is not. Whereas Seng Sokhom looks like a loft Cambodian apartment that just happens to rent rooms, Narin 2 is new and very commercial-looking, with a big, flashy lobby and tour information hanging on the wall. Still, like its neighbour, the rooms are quite decent for the price -- spacious and clean, with tile floors. We hear it's another popular meeting place for aid workers arriving on the Phnom Penh scene looking to make fast friends. Choose from a huge variety of rooms -- families and those travelling in groups might do particularly well here.

if don't have a better option...
I was here for 2 nights after 1 night at Capitol GH, which I do not recommend. All the places around were fully booked, but Narin2 had a departure the next day and I moved. The man who works at the reception here is very... bitter. A mix between rude and angry. The only room they had was on the very top floor, just next to the washing machine and the staff's hanging out place. This was allright, but there were always someone around, so no privacy if you want to let the curtains open. Once there were 3 men working on my room's window frame, and they had taken out the whole thing, it was a bit weird since I was taking a nap and they were right there. The room itself is ok, fairy clean and ok size. Nothing special about this place, but if the other ones are too scary or full, then this is an option. Oh yes, I bought my bus ticket to Kampot with the bitter man and had no problems.

I stayed one day here. Staffs were nice :) 6$ for double bed, fan and private bathroom! Its near Odssey Market.100m
