Another 2008 entrant to the hotel scene in Phnom Penh's NGOville, Anise looks like a four-star hotel but comes with a three-star price tag. Rooms are gigantic and most have a balcony, DVD players connected to flat-screen TVs, and a rarity: hair dryers. Rooms are all wired with free WiFi, as is the restaurant, which serves good Western fare. The steak sandwich is particularly notable.
