Description
At first glance, the Star Inn looks like the Beach Club's ugly sister, but on closer inspection it turns out to be quite a good deal, with surprisingly clean and well maintained rooms -- many with Jacuzzi-style bathtubs and, unlike the Beach Club, private balconies. It's still a bit of a cheesy affair though -- they've gone overboard on the pink paint and the decor is borderline wedding cake style, but that aside, the rooms are comfortable and there are fine views over Kep's main beach. There's a large, ground-floor restaurant and the location is straight over the road from the beach. The cheapest rooms are on the ground floor -- upper rooms are more expensive, but have better views.

The Beach House
Kep beach, Kep
You can't miss the motel-style Beach House, plonked onto the east bank of Kep's main beach. Like the Star Inn across the bay, Beach House doesn't even try to blend into the surrounds, and it unfortunately hasn't taken as much advantage of the views as it could have, opting for long, shared... more

Swiss and Khmer owned Kep Lodge is Kep's latest addition and a welcome one at that.
