Description
This popular guesthouse must pay the biggest commissions in town as this is where every motodop seems to want to take you. Overall it is a pretty good establishment, as long as you're not too fussed about being a bit of a walk from the river. The rooms are really well-sized and have clean private bathrooms and comfortable bedding. The management run a busy travel agent on the same premises and they reckon they can look after ALL your travel needs. They run private minibuses daily to Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. Rates seem pretty high, but as we should up with a moto, these probably include some commission -- show up along and you'll probably get a lower rate.

Champa Guesthouse
Opposite Koh Kong River Side, Ko Kong
Managed by British Cambodia hand Rob, Champa Guesthouse is the only riverside option in Ko Kong, and you are right on the river, with the rooms opening out onto a wooden terrace that faces straight onto the river. All rooms are with fan and shared bathroom facilities. Rates are very reasonable and... more
Koh Kong Guesthouse
By the river, Ko Kong
This is one of the better options in town with large and very clean rooms in a wooden house with an attached restaurant nextdoor. As with the Koh Kong Riverside this place is across the road from the river, so there isn't much in the way of river views, but the airy and comfortable restaurant more... more
Otto's
Ko Kong town
Heading inland from the river road, Otto's sits on a well shaded corner with a bunch of functional though basic wooden rooms in rambling wooden set-up. The two large and well-decked-out balcony areas are a big asset here and a perfect escape from the heat and take a snooze. -- a better location... more
Koh Kong River Side
By the river, Ko Kong
Despite its name, the Koh Kong Riverside is on the other side of the road from the river, so it isn't really riverside, but despite that, its a pretty good location a short walk from the centre of town. The guesthouse has a large open air restaurant out the front and the rooms are all in a two... more
Sovan Angkor Guesthouse
East of the market, Ko Kong
Going on the look reception gave us, Sovan Angkor doesn't see a lot of western clientele, and after looking at their pretty smelly, aged rooms it is easy to see why. Room rates are certainly... more
