Koh Kong River Side
Aged, but quiet location

What we say:
Despite its name, the Koh Kong Riverside is on the other side of the road from the river, so it isn't really riverside, but despite that, its a pretty good location a short walk from the centre of town. The guesthouse has a large open air restaurant out the front and the rooms are all in a two storey house at the rear. The rooms are adequate though a little aged -- we thought the linoleum-covered doors was an interesting touch. Overall the place is showing its age and there are better deals to be had in town. Handy location straight across from the Sunset Bar. Overpriced.

Suspicious, but delivers
Koh Kong Riverside is a somewhat suspicious-looking establishment with goon-like Khmers hanging out in great numbers at the restaurant, but in the end we had no complaints about staying here for one night. The rooms do look old and tired, but are otherwise comfortable. The food is okay and not too expensive either.
