Description
The Jasmine Hotel is towads the end of the developed part of Ochheuteal Beach (excluding the golf course) and has very clean, large rooms with aircon, hot water and cable TV. Friendly English-speaking staff serve up meals in the reasonable restaurant on the first floor. It's very popular with tour groups, so can get pretty hectic at times.

We had a bit of a bad experience here.
The accommodation itself was fine - basic but clean rooms with fan and bathroom, decent proximity to the
beach, etc. And when we first arrived, the staff were friendly enough...
The problems came next day when we went to go home. First of all, they didn't tell us what time we had to check out by, so when two of our party were late booking out (mid-afternoon), the manager tried to charge them for an extra nights accommodation. Worse was to come though. We had asked them to book us two taxis to get us home that afternoon. They only booked one (there were 7 of us). When we refused to use it and made alternative arrangements, because we couldn't all fit in, they demanded we pay their taxi driver - or else they would call the police and have us arrested! Given that we wouldn't have had to let their taxi driver friend down if they had booked the right amount of taxis, I'd say this is pretty shocking customer service.
A shame, because we had been perfectly happy with the place up until we left. Suffice to say, we will not be returning.
