Description
Markara Guesthouse is set off the beach towards the central stretch of Ochheuteal Beach and while it certainly isn't overflowing with character, their rooms, particularly the fan rooms are well sized and clean. Similar in style and layout to the GST Guesthouse, Markara does a steady trade, and has a comforable upper floor restaurant.

We spent a week here and had a great time.the room was clean and big, the staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good. I wish I could say this about all the places I have been in the last 10 months...

I'd strongly disagree with the post by CambodianFriend. I've stayed here twice and like it. I'd certainly stay there again. The only problem is it isn't right on the beach, but it is otherwise good value. And the food - no complaints at all -- maybe cambodianfriend ate too much bad seafood on the beach.

Ochheuteal Beach Side Bungalows
Back off Ochheuteal Beach
Located nextdoor to the GST Guesthouse, Ochheuteal Beach Side Bungalows is a good choice with spacious and spotless aircon rooms (two to a bungalow) all fitted out with cable tv, hot water bathrooms, fridge and comfortable beds. There is also a large restaurant on the premises. The rather exposed... more

Jasmine Hotel
Ochheuteal Beach
The Jasmine Hotel is towads the end of the developed part of Ochheuteal Beach (excluding the golf course) and has very clean, large rooms with aircon, hot water and cable TV. Friendly English-speaking staff serve up meals in the reasonable restaurant on the first floor. It's very popular with tour... more

Apsara Guest House
wo blocks off the beach
Apsara Guest House is a medium sized guesthouse two blocks back off Ochheuteal Beach. With a range of very well-sized and clean rooms, this is a good budget option if you're not fussed about staying right on the beach. Very friendly and English speaking staff are a asset, as are the very clean... more

Queen Hill Resort
Ochheuteal Beach, Sihanoukville
Queen Hill Resort sits at the far end of Ochheuteal Beach atop the headland and overlooking both Ocheuteal Beach on one side and Otres Beach on the other. Rooms are somewhat exposed, but large with ample space to string a hammock or two. The views are spectacular -- easily the best views in the... more

GST Guesthouse
Back off Ochheuteal Beach
GST Guesthouse is owned by the same-named bus company and the place has the atmosphere of a bus station. We've heard that GST pays by far the highest commissions of any guesthouse in Sihanoukville, so don't be surprised if your motodop starts telling you it is the best place to stay -- it isn't.... more

Same Same But Different Guesthouse
Serendipity Beach, Sihanoukville
Wedged among the other beach bars and guesthouses at the end of Serendipity Beach, Same Same but Different has a handful of rooms set in a couple of longhouses behind their restaurant. The rooms are clean and functional, and while nothing particularly diferent to its neighbours, they're not too bad... more

Occheuteal Guesthouse

Located on a quiet offshoot from the Golden Lion monument, we'd expected an expansive place with personal touches from viewing their website. Instead, a manager reluctantly tore himself away from a meal with his extended family to show us a few rooms. Occheuteal is probably better-run when the... more
