Good poolside value
What we say: 
Orchidee's rooms span a sizeable budget spectrum. Their least expensive rooms are on the small side but still have en suite bathrooms and air-con. As prices increase, rooms get newer and more spacious, with the best value ones encircling the deep blue pool. Those at the highest end of the range are newly built with private balconies and original art on the walls; at the lowest are slightly grim rooms on the ground floor of the main building. An ample, though repetitive, buffet breakfast is included with rooms over $18. Previously, Orchidee received complaints of inattentive and unfriendly staff but when we visited they were helpful and pleasant, so perhaps this is a problem of the past. All rooms have air-con, safe, cable TV, and private hot water bathroom.

Basically Happy
We moved from another hotel as this was near the beach and the pool was a bonus. Stayed 5 nights.$20/night included breakfast(Did get repetitive)the bathroom really smelled the first day forcing us to buy air cleaner and the pool was used for scuba course during peak times. Room was cleaned everyday and staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of good outdoor restaurants on this street.

Good mid-range hotel
We stayed at Deluxe room (US$28/night) with a private balcony overlooking a court yard. The room was nicely decorated,very clean and quiet, breakfast was plentiful and tasty (brown bread available!!!)and pool was clean and nice. Only minus was an expensive internet, double of the price compared to other places. Lots of group travellers from Europe. Would like to stay again, and I certainly can recommend it to all 'oldies'.
