Description
This was once the Koh Rong Hotel but has been redone into a large hotel supported by the massive bar downstairs. Check-in comes with a free beer, which pretty much sets the tone of the place. With sports TV and the huge bar, it feels like it’s been picked up out of Pattaya and dropped here. Regardless of what goes on downstairs, the large rooms are pretty good value, all coming with hot water, TV and fridge.

Is now not a very enjoyable place to stay. The staff are great yet bored with the same old scene, it's pretty much over for the Freedom unless someone can revive the good vibes.

Live with excitement, ignore the ignorant, enjoy the enjoyable,
be Free at the Freedom,
Let all the nonsense go away, if your ready to let it all go, just be a fun individual without looking at things with a cynical eye. Stay at the Freedom or visit the bar, these people are great people, I consider them all my friends, I would stay here again, and again, and again. Although I have other places downtown that I enjoy and like to stay, this is a place that smiles upon the traveller, a warmly welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of locals hang out here which adds to the enjoyable buzz going around the place. Ignore what does not let you enjoy this wonderful place. 4 nights of my life spent here can rival any other place I've stayed in all of SE Asia.
