Description
This large guesthouse is conspicuously green -- and not in an environmental way. Situated on a corner and several storeys high, it's visible from afar and has an attractive and tidy look. Rooms are simple but come with some attention to detail. Crown moulding adorns corners and light blue floor tiles are glossy. Colourful bedspreads fight for top billing against the sea greens and pinks that coat the walls. Though the result is rooms that are more cheerful than most, toward that end, they're a cacophony of colour that's somewhat headache inducing. Bathrooms are sufficient but a tad grungy. The restaurant downstairs has an eclectic menu but is overpriced given the reasonable room rates. Fortunately there's plenty of good food to be had downtown. All rooms come with air-con, TV, hot water and fridge.

Freedom Dance Bar Restaurant Hotel
Sihanoukville town
Formerly the Koh Rong Hotel, this boisterous spot is now largely supported by the massive bar downstairs. Check-in comes with a free beer, which pretty much sets the tone of the place. With sports TV and the huge bar, it feels like it's been picked up out of Pattaya and dropped here. You'll... more
