With just a handful of really large wooden bungalows spread over a spacious slice of real estate on the headland between Serendipity and Sokha Beaches, Kampuja Crossroads promises a lot, but doesn't quite cut the grade for the price level it is working at. Bungalows are massive affairs -- at least one is in a split level style with an open air attic and great views down onto a little beach, but at $40 a night it is well overpriced. Management seem to realise this as the prices tumbled down at a rate of knots when we asked after the rates, so if you are planning on trying here, be sure to haggle. The location is very isolated -- suitable for a quiet weekend away from everything... perhaps.
