What we say: 3 stars

This large and impersonal hotel runs off the attached casino and the room rates, given the mod cons, are very reasonable. The pleasant rooms have plush carpeting and marble baths. Thick mattresses and air-con make for a good night's sleep and the in-room fixings for coffee and tea are a nice touch. All are bright and airy and the superior rooms have very good ocean views. The restaurant downstairs is good for breakfast, which is included. If nothing else, the cheesy casino is sure to provide a few laughs — we've never had a flutter at the attached casino so can't vouch for that, though you should be sure to note the sign reminding patrons that they are not permitted to carry bombs and other explosives.
