Part of the nationwide chain, their Sihanoukville guesthouse is big, with clean and well-maintained rooms priced across a full gamut of budgets. Housed in an attractive rust-coloured building, pleasant-looking rooms are spacious and comfortable. The friendly staff are helpful and can easily book tours, rentals and bus tickets. It's well located with decent views out to sea and the prices can't be beat. Do expect the staff to give you a fair few options on onwards transport (to other Mealy Chenda Guesthouses) and so on — the travel agency is a core part of their business.

Value, best sunset views
The famous Mealy Chenda guesthouse --- great value, location on Weather Station Hill. The best sunset views from their nice restaurant and bar. Short walk down to Victory Beach, which is not the main beach, but is now cleaned regularly, and has nice white sand. Great staff, great value. Tory and Tidee will take good care of you. Also, saw an earlier comment about power outages --- they now have a good generator system: kept my a/c when other places went dark. Highly recommended!

stayed here
I stayed for three nights. Maybe we got a bad room but the bathroom drain was blocked and the electric wiring was hanging from the wall, plus at the top of the hill we got so many power cuts -- at least two to three times a day. Also there seems to be a lot of building work going on so its difficult to sleep after 7 am.

good value
This isn't the best location... but... the rooms are good value and they have a wonderful balcony restaurant overlooking everything. Great food and prices in the restaurant also.
