Meet Elvis
Victory Hill
Sihanoukville Province
Tel: (012) 913 714
Description
About the best thing here is Elvis the pet dog, who tends to grab guests’ BLTs when they’re not looking. The Melting Pot is enclosed from the street by bamboo walls and it has a bit of a dank feel about it, although it’s probably the most cheerful along this bleak stretch. A pool table and reasonable food add to the appeal, although it can take a while for meals to be rustled up. Smallish rooms available.

and that was enough to leave without returning. It wasn't about the people, they were mostly friendly and the rooms were clean. It just did not feel like Cambodia in this place, if you want to stay in Europe while your in Cambodia, stay here. Otherwise, forget the place and enjoy the numerous other options on the Hill. I would never consider staying here again, even if there were no rooms availabe in all of Sihanoukville. I'd sleep on the beach with rabid dogs chewing on my legs before staying here again.

Victory Hill
Set at the base of Victory Hill, the rooms here are clean, but there are no views and it kind of feels like it’s in a car park. The bar next door looks like it would get pretty lively, so earplugs would be handy. They have one rather peculiar room situated above the entrance that’s like... more
Bungalow Village
Victory Hill
For the money, you can't really complain about Bungalow Village, which has good views and is in a quiet setting, but the place really does need some maintenance or it may blow away in the next storm. Very laid-back staff, and a restaurant with limited food and drink. In season it draws a loyal... more

Green Gecko Guesthouse
Victory Hill, Sihanoukville
The Green Gecko was formerly known as Victory Guesthouse and offers spartan though pretty clean basic backpacker fare in a multi-level sprawling concrete house on the edge of Victory Hill. It is certainly cheap -- amongst the cheapest in the area, so if you're on a tight budget it is worth a... more
