Description
The one good thing about the Golden River is that it's cheap -- that's about it. For just a little more money you'll do far better with the digs at the Royal or even the Chhaya, but if, for some unimaginable reason they're both full, the Golden River is adequate for a night. They were given it a fresh coat of paint when we visited, so perhaps a full scale renovation is on the way, but we doubt that very much. Little English spoken.
