Description
One of a bunch of newish hotels that have been plonked down in Battambang in the last year or two, the Banan has standard, mid-range rooms with a good array of amenities, including air-con throughout, hot water bathrooms, cable TV, IDD telephone (in the room) and free internet access. It's at the northern end of Battambang, not far from where the ferries leave, and just a five minute stroll from the market. Rooms are decked out in a polished-wood, gleaming-tile style, and while there was nothing that really jumped out at us about the Banan, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
