Stung Sen Royal Hotel
Roomy and plain

What we say:
Though we found the English-speaking management to be quite accommodating and kind, we again thought the prices were higher than the quality at this riverside hotel. A few rooms have obscured river views if you look over the parking lot, but with most, the view is blocked by trees. Rooms are quite large and bright, with big windows, but lacking any decor -- the rooms are white, with white linens, and there is literally nothing on the walls, save some chipping paint and cracks. The TV was mini-sized and the furniture worn, though mattresses were super thick and looked quite comfortable. Some rooms have huge bathrooms with tubs, though no shower curtains.

Quiet
We had a double room with an extrabed for $25. The room was spacious, the bathroom had a tub but was quite smelly. The room faced the river and was very quiet. The staff was inattentively, we stayed there for three days and had to ask for toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo every day. We inspected three other guesthouses and I think we made a good choice although the price is too high for the quality.
