Mittapheap Hotel
Has river views

What we say:
While no other hotel in town seems to take advantage of offering river views, here you can find a room with a balcony -- though no furniture -- to stand and watch the river shift downstream. Rooms smelled musty but were clean, with plain furnishings and thick moulding around the ceiling. The bathroom has a rare component -- a plastic divider for the shower, keeping the toilet from getting wet. Rooms are connected by a wide, echoing hallway inside this new Khmer-style villa. There used to be a restaurant here, but it was closed when we visited.

Nice place
Not close enough to see the river, but even the view of the river itself is nothing to get excited about. This hotel had spacious rooms, were very clean and I opted for a cold water fan room which was only $8 a night. Room had two double beds. Good enough for me!
