Description
Casa Angkor's rooms are spread across a couple of faux-colonial buildings in the heart of Siem Reap's French Quarter. Rooms are light and airy, and some come with pleasant verandas and shuttered windows. The deluxe rooms are definitely worth the extra money -- the rooms are bigger and are better situated. With the new building came a good, deep swimming pool -- welcome relief in the middle of the day. The pool certainly increases the value of Casa Angkor, but the walk-in rates still struck us as a tad high for the standard. That said, discounts shouldn't be too difficult to come by -- either online or just ask. Staff and service is prompt and professional.

The Victoria Angkor remains one of the most impressive large properties in Siem Reap. Shinta Mani
Om Khun and 14th St, Siem Reap
The name Shinta Mani is apparently derived from Sanskrit meaning the gem that provides everything one desires, and for once the PR of a Siem Reap hotel isn't far off the mark. This small hotel and spa has very well designed and furnished rooms, a compact restaurant and a supported hospitality... more

Pokambor Rd, Siem Reap
The Angkor branch of the FCC Phnom Penh has terrific rooms, fitted out with all the mod cons.
