Homely feel, no breakfast
What we say: 
This is one of the first places you'll reach after turning off from the main throughfare. A few rooms on top of the owner's house are what greets visitors to Balian Surfer Homestay and this is a decent budget option for the area. Located upstairs past the lounge room, the large rooms are clean, but basic, have dark cold water bathrooms and not a lot of decoration but you can't ask for much at this price point. It's a good twenty minute walk from the beach for those without transport, so pack your own motorbike and bear in mind this is one of the cheapest places on this road. Breakfast is not included.
