What we say:

It's all about the magnificent views at Thomas Homestay. In fact, the views are so good that you forget about the size and quality of the rooms. The cheaper rooms share a mandi-style bathroom while the more expensive ones have self-contained bathrooms with squat toilets that are elevated to about waist height — the mind boggles. The rooms are basic and the beds are cheap, but comfortable enough. The restaurant is perched on top of the cliff and is a worthy location for a five-star restaurant, but this certainly is not one. It's all about the view… The view is absolutely unbeatable at any price.

Snappy Landlord

Indeed a very beautiful view from up there, still deadly tiresome to climb down and esp. back up from the rather desolated beach, still it has a charm, but for its owner.....we were -twice- confronted with an extremely impolite snotty boy,one of 2 tending to the place. When i made a remark about this to the owner, during which, i must say, i fell out to the boy,we saw the water to our room cut off upon which I tried to reason with the owner again.This led only to a loud fell out and a gesture making us feel treathened....reason for us to immediately move out to another place (the wonderful nearby friendly Yaya Home Stay).....not after we had to pay 250.000 Rph for an unused room plus 50.000 Rph for a mere 3 hrs rent of the motorbike.....may-be we were just unlucky or was it me and my falling out towards the boy.....still this before any comments towards me :we just came from a week Kuta/Lombok where i'm . most flateringly called Mr. Nice...., so far our experience at Thomas Homestay.
