What we say:

Uluwatu's Rocky Bungalows is set a little away from the other hotels, to the west of the more popular approach to Uluwatu beach, down a scrabbly road that also runs off to various private villas and other soon to be completed homestays. The position is great with tremendous seaviews from the cliff, and while there is an on-site restaurant, we got the impression the menu would be, well, limited. Of more interest is a tempting swimming pool, with the newer rooms nearby. These come in both fan-cooled and air-con flavours and they're of a reasonable size. Certainly wouldn't win any design awards, but then the resort wouldn't generally anyway. This is a functional place with adequate rooms at, for Uluwatu, reasonable prices. Given the distance from the main beach access, you'll be better off with your own transport if youc hoose to stay here.
