What we say:

Look, it doesn't get any more basic, nor any more on the beach, than this. Made Suardani has a handful of shacks perched on the cliff-face as you climb down a steep trail. They come with shared facilities and simple Indonesian food can be prepared upon request. At high tide there's just about no beach here, just waves, but at low you'll get some sand. If full (likely in high season) try Bali Rocks, which sits on the same cliff face and is just to the west.
