What we say:

This high end private villa complex is located about a ten minute walk from the centre of Candi Dasa but it feels like it's a world away. We we shown through a family compound that included a main lounging around villa and two individual free-standing villas (one for the parents and one to lock small children in we assume) along with a cute plunge pool. To say the lounging around villa was large, well designed and well decked out would be a substantial understatement. Likewise the two bedroom villas had large and beautiful bathrooms, plush bedding and just about every mod-con we could fathom save the landing pad for the chopper. The common villa comes with a good sized kitchenette and staff to cook up a storm. A word on the staff, especially obliging and helpful — we almost fell over when they confided the place is seven years old — we'd have guess a year old given the well maintained look and feel of the place. There's no common pool, and the plunge pool is, well, just big enough for plunging in, but there is plenty of ocean not far away. Totally out of our budget, but if it fits yours can't imagine you'd be all that disappointed. If you're a walk-in guest, be sure to haggle — we were offered pretty good discounts off the cuff with almost no effort on our behalf.

Flash, but noisy.

Everything is as described and is pretty flash. It's so unfortunate that the dive place next door is so popular as we could here cars travelling on what seemed to be the noisiest gravel in the world! Maybe ask for one of the villas away from the side road. Staff were amazing, they have boardgames out the front desk just ask. We got the room for $150 with three people staying without even trying. I really like the location as its quiet and the walk into town is not far. There are lots of great cheapies down this road too. Would stay again as a break between hostels and cheaper options.
