Spacious and reasonable value
Ecosfera has the most oddly placed TV arrangement we've seen in a hotel.
In both the standard (small flatscreen randomly attached to wall) and the deluxe (large flatscreen attached to wall in position that can't be comfortably viewed from bed or sofa) rooms, one can only assume that the installation agent either doesn't watch TV or thought these were actually electronic art. TVs aside, rooms are large, spacious and very clean, and sit in a series of multi-storey buildings surrounding a tempting, palm-shaded swimming pool. Worryingly, the exterior walls of the bathrooms in the standard rooms finish a foot or so from the ceiling — from a security point of view be sure to lock the bathroom door before leaving your room unattended. Budget rooms are apparently on the way for $20 per person but they were unavailable when we visited in mid-2011.
