What we say:

Taman Ayu II is located on Jalan Benesari in the middle of backpacker-style eateries and surf shops. It's filled with people under the age of 30 who have come to Bali to surf, drink, party and partake in range of other fun activities, but this doesn't have the obvious effect of making the hotel noisy. All the rooms have clean and modern hot water bathrooms, the more expensive rooms have air-con and at these prices it is impossible to match this quality. Other than hot water and air-con, everything else is quite basic, but clean — a few bits of furniture, a bed with thin mattress, a mirror and a few power points. This place fills up quickly, so it might be best to book. The upstairs rooms are more modern and better value.
