What we say:

The just shy of 200-room Harris Resort Kuta Beach is, well, very orange. While the decor is vaguely reminiscent of mall meets low-cost airline meets 24-hour diner, this is actually fantastic value and if you're travelling with kids in tow and want to stay in the Kuta area, this should be close to the top of your list. The four-storey hotel encircles a large freeform swimming pool and houses quite well-sized superior rooms. Rooms are smart, spotless and functional, while free WiFi is available throughout the resort. A raft of activities on offer throughout the day will help to keep the kids busy. Harris Resort is especially popular with Jakartans who descend on Bali for weekends and it can be a bit of a madhouse at that time. Rates are exceptional value. Recommended.
