Located in a lane off Jalan Padma Utara, the cool two-storey rooms here are slightly bizarre in that there is a large unutilised space on the bottom floor. Pantai Bhuwana is slightly rundown, and slightly dirty, but has decent beds with mosquito nets and pleasant second-floor balconies. It's a family-run place with friendly owners who are probably caught up in their own lives rather than the running of their guesthouse. The value isn't bad here -- it's just a matter of whether you can cope with the slightly rundown feel and the cold water.
