What we say:

The basic rooms here are a little dark and depressing due to an absence of natural light, but offer great backpacker value. Rooms have comfortable cheap mattresses, are clean, contain cold water bathrooms, look out onto pleasant gardens and are very quiet. No toilet paper, soap or towel is provided, but the verandah is a pleasant place to relax with a book and the non-English speaking owner is very friendly. For this price, it's quite a good deal and you'll be hard-pressed to get a lot cheaper.
