What we say:

If basic and old rooms are your thing and you love the beach, this is a brilliant hotel -- if not, this place could be a nightmare. The nightmare stems from the rust on many of the metal surfaces in the rooms which lends a dirty feel despite the rooms actually being very clean. The rooms have hot water outdoor bathrooms and not a whole lot else except some primitive cooking facilities -- but you wouldn't dare use them. For those on a tight budget that want to be across the road from the beach and right next to the Rip Curl Surf School, there is no better choice.
