Taman Ayu Homestay and Warung
Great budget digs

What we say:
After Number One Guesthouse, this is the best budget bet in town, set on the north side of the ridge almost opposite Puri Sunny Hotel. Taman Ayu has simply decorated, but well sized and very clean rooms with great little terraces and views to boot. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is an elevated restaurant which the very friendly owner claimed on a clear day you could see Java from -- we'd like to be in Munduk for a day that clear as you'd need to be able to see over the ridge! Trekking and cooking courses available. Overall this is solid value, helped by the free WiFi -- just watch the slippery drive on the way down after rain -- it can be treacherous. Very friendly -- recommended.
