In an area where good value is hard to come by and the level of competition poor, you can't really expect a whole lot in the way of accommodation options. But Pondok Agung Homestay rises above all others in a way that is truly hard to believe. Eight of the nine bungalows constructed out of hardwood have air-con, TV, clean hot water bathrooms and free WiFi. More importantly, the rooms feel clean, bright and of a quality not usually seen in this price range. The gardens of the property are pleasant and it's located right across the road from the beach where it's possible to swim, sunbathe or participate in the watersports on offer. To cap it all off, breakfast is included in the nightly rate.
