What we say:

Sort of north as the crow flies from Dream Beach, Sunset Villas and Cafe has quiet, spacious lawn grounds on a peninsula off western Nusa Lembongan. It isn't right on the water's edge as there's a very flash villa development between them and the water, but a reasonably sized swimming pool on site somewhat compensates. The very spacious, high-ceilinged rooms are duplex-style in individual cottages scattered across the grounds. Decor is spartan, but the bathrooms are clean and well sized, with loads of space for an extra bed should you need one. The location is pretty isolated and the closest swimming beach, Mushroom Bay, is a long, unshaded walk away, so you'll really be wanting your own transport if you choose to stay here. The restaurant is above the reception area and enjoys good views — you can see it from miles away. Given the pool, the price is a good deal. Ring ahead to check availability as they don't have a lot of rooms.
