Set on the eastern headland overloooking Mushroom Bay, this large bungalow operation has the best vantage point of all the beachside properties here. Rooms come in a few varieties, with lumbungs and Balinese-style cottages representing the bulk of the options. The lumbungs are the pricier option, but the one we were shown had a near vertical staircase leading into the bathroom — really not practical at all. Rooms are otherwise clean and well kept and in a rambling yet well tended garden enclosure. A moderately sized swimming pool lies near the restaurant, which overhangs the cliff. The setting is impressive but the food is unfortunately mediocre. Seems a popular choice with families. This is the best value of the beachside options on Mango Bay.
