What we say:

This locally-run operation stands out for some of the small details around the property such as the cleanliness of bathrooms and maintenance of the garden. There are a variety of different rooms in the property with some common features such as air-con, wall hangings, beds with cheaper linen and tiled floors. Where the rooms differ the most is that some have outdoor bathrooms with rockery and large modern shower head while others are just run of the mill cold water bathrooms. The included breakfast is generous as is the one hour of free WiFi per night, but those still not happy with the deal can ask to sleep on the floor of the family that runs the place for a small fee. Very friendly Gede is really switched on to the local community and has a great sense of humour — he pointed out to us that the pebble floored showers double as foot massages. Kubuku is on the off-the-beach side of the road, a five minute walk from the sand. This place is great budget value.
