What we say:

There's a choice of rooms, lumbungs and villas at Bali Kembali, but all feature very clean old-school hot water bathrooms and air-con. The main difference between the styles of rooms is their age. The grounds are pleasant and have an abundance of flowering frangipani, banana and coconut trees, a big sparkling swimming pool and a bunch of deck chairs perfect for relaxing on. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere here, but you're actually right in the centre of town and this is a real plus for this place. Another good sign of a well-run establishment observed on our visit were the unoccupied rooms being aired to keep away the mustiness that tends to form between visitors. A good Western-run midrange option. You'll find Bali Kembali on the off-beach side of Jalan Danau Temblingan a bit to the south of the Hyatt Hotel.
