The published prices at this place are not in fact the prices the owners are willing to let the rooms go for -- we were quoted 200,000 rupiah on our visit. With this lower pricing in mind, the value here is fantastic given that you receive free WiFi, air-con, clean hot water bathroom and good quality beds. The atmosphere of the courtyard which the rooms face is one of serenity with a well-shaded bale and some big trees to keep the heat away. The facades of the rooms are the traditional stone carved variety which adds a bit of extra character to an already fantastic place. To top it all off, the pool is a small, but good one. Hotel Jati has a good, central off-beach location.

Great place - good value

Very impressed by Jati Homestay. We paid 500k for a triple room - tried to haggle but they wouldn't budge. The room is spotlessly clean, comes with good wifi, air con, TV (with international channels - movies etc), hot water and a fridge. Fairly basic furniture/decor, but perfectly comfortable. The rooms are set in nice gardens and the small pool is very nice - we had it to ourselves most of the time. Breakfast is good and the staff are the friendliest we've had so far. Jati is towards the bottom (south) of Jalan Danau Tamblingan, but close to restaurants, bars, shops and the beach. A great choice.
