What we say:

Set at the southern end of Sanur, facing onto Mertasari Beach, the Mercure is expensive, but for the money you get comfort in the knowledge that this place is run to Western standards and that the service will be top rate. And that is true of this Mercure with staff that speak great English, well-maintained grounds and modern rooms. The recently renovated rooms contain flat screen TVs and feel very comfortable, but are the same price as the unrenovated rooms so be sure to specify in your booking that you want one of the better rooms. Breakfast is included in the tariff and it's best to try and book your deal on the internet before arriving as prices change daily dependent on occupancy rates. Disappointingly at this price point, free WiFi is only provided for an hour per day. Character is a little lacking here, but it's a clean-cut place with a pleasant pool and it would suit most that expect Western comforts.
