Subak Tabola Inn

Affordable but isolated

What we say: 3 stars

Subak Tabola is at the end of a windy (and very slippery when wet -- watch out!) road that finishes almost immediately behind Surya Shanti Villa -- it's signposted from the road. It's a simple affair with Balinese-style cottages scattered across a lawn setting. Rooms are spacious and clean and there is lots of open space, including a generous terrace veranda area. This is an isolated spot, but there is a restaurant on-site so you need not trek for three meals a day. Still, without your own transport you may feel a little hemmed it. For the standard rates are a little high though we'd suggest you shouldn't have too much of a problem haggling the rates down -- especially for longer stays.
