Great views, but so so rooms
What we say: 
A couple of kilometres north of Sideman proper, this sprawling hilltop estate has a gaggle of Balinese-style bungalows scattered across a lush garden which enjoys tremendous views north to Gunung Agung and south towards the coast. The views will take your breath away -- these are the best views bar none in Sideman. Unfortunately, while the views are the best, the accommodation isn't. Rooms are supersized -- ridiculously so. They often have a bizarre layout as well -- in our case the dressing room (at least that is what we assume it was) had a bed in it. Another room we were shown could have easily slept a group of a dozen or so. On the upside, the oversized rooms have oversized terraces, so there is plenty of space to lay around and soak up the view. There's a rambling garden and a moderately sized pool and while it might sound great for kids, there are lots of sheer drops -- if you come here with kids, you'll need to keep a very close eye on them. There is also a restaurant on site and the food is excellent. Very friendly and obliging staff. All the rooms cost the same, which again is odd so try and bargain the rates down if you can. Worth it for the views, just a shame the rooms are not better.
