What we say: 
Along a walking track just off Jalan Raya Penestanan is Gerebig Bungalows, which is set over expansive grounds surrounded by ricefields. The rooms are older style, but still feel fresh and have hot water bathrooms, fans, mosquito nets over the beds, fridges, free WiFi and balconies to take in the serene view of the ricefields. The swimming pool was built in early 2010 and is a beauty right in the middle of the ricefield — a great place to sunbathe and relax. The only disappointment here is the slightly high price, but if within your budget, this place is a good one.
